Donated the Color My World Kit of Colorblind Glasses to the Plainfield Library to try and help our local Colorblind residents see the world in brighter COLORS.
Purchased two limestone benches for the Plainfield Bicentential Plaza.
Collect and distribute hand crafted Valentines made by Plainfield elementary students for nursing home and assisted living facility residents throughout Plainfield.
Collect Keys for Cancer where the money collected from recycled keys goes directly into the Indiana Lions Cancer Control Fund and on to the Simon Cancer Center at IUPUI for research.
Collect food for the St. Mark's Episcopal Church Food Pantry.
Award annually one scholastic college scholarships of $500 to a Plainfield High School senior.
Promote diabetes awareness, a leading cause of new-onset blindness, a growing world epidemic that is expected to affect over 642 million people by 2040.
Provide partial scholarships for 6th, 7th and 8th graders to attend Indiana Law/Career Camps with an up-close look at law enforcement and the criminal justice system through its youth camps.
Participated with the Boy Scouts and picked up trash along Quaker Boulevard in the Adopt-A-Highway program.
Participated in tree plantings at Quaker Day.
Donated a macular degenerative reader to the Plainfield Public Library.
Has supported Boy Scouts, Junior Miss and the Little League.
HENDRICKS COUNTY PROJECTS
Participate in Operation KidSight and through this vision screening have identified PreK and Preschool children with vision needs and have provided assistance for children to obtain an eye exam and glasses.Promote Literacy and give preschoolers their own beginner book.

Support Sheltering Wings who provide emergency housing for women and children suffering from any form of domestic abuse. |
Support Susie's Place Child Advocacy Center to protect the children of Hendricks County from child abuse.Support Family Promise to help families experiencing homelessness and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

Sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups to encourage children ages 11, 12 or 13 to express their visions of peace.
Assist with providing eye exams, glasses, ocular surgery assistance and hearing aids to those in need.
Provided reading radios where audio access to local and selected national newspapers and magazines are read out loud for the visually impaired.
Provided disaster assistance with monetary help from Lions International when Whitelick Creek flooded.

Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, educates and invests in many children that other schools cannot or have difficulty serving due to blindness or low vision. |
Leader Dogs for the Blind, empowers people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent travel. |
